My name is Bina. I am a full time Sociologist by trade and now, the proud founder of VSK. Like many others during lockdown, I finally decided to turn my passion for cooking (and eating!) Indian vegetarian food into a home-based, home-cooking venture from my small kitchen in Apsley, Hertfordshire.
Since then, with restrictions lifting and life returning to somewhat “normal”, VSK has been able to grow in a range of directions. We offer a local set-meal subscription service and cater for small group occasions.

I am so glad I've discovered Veg Street Kitchen as her Daal Dhokri is epic. Comfort food at its best and so full of such fantastic and very authentic flavours. I can't wait to order more soon!

Veg Street Kitchen made an apperance at our offices today, and to say I was impressed was an understatement! It was refershing to see some traditional south Indian influence mixed with hearty good cooking. Even the meat-lovers got stuck in! The friendliest bunch too - Would highly recommend & look forward to having them back soon!

Veg Street Kitchen, came to our office and cooked up a storm, not easy in an office situation.
The chickpea dish was delicious, and the flavours and smells of all the food served was marvelous.
Wished I could have tried more, and I will be looking out for them now.
Based on this experience, I would thoroughly recommend them.

Amazing authentic Indian cuisine flavours with a modern twist. Veggie food done sooo right. Chilli cheese toastie is the best sandwich in the world! An amazing treat delivered to your door with a smile. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Just had lunch in Barnet. The food was delicious. Super tasty with a great gentle chilli kick. Will definitely have lunch here again.

For someone who is a meat eater, it was refreshing to have an all veg menu with each dish being so flavoursome. Veg Street Kitchen has thought about everything with their fixed menu, from having different containers so you can construct your Starters perfectly together and the best part, each container was labelled with what it exactly was! (Little touches) As someone who likes to eat spicy, the curry was perfect to taste and I forgot to even add any spice to it as it went together so well. Highly recommend for a hearty Indian takeaway which is authentic. Hats off to the Chef

The food was excellent especially the Biriyani! The Chilli Paneer had the perfect kick to it. If you want great street food that tastes fresh and not the normal do try this place.

The best presentation of food I have seen for a take away in a long time. The food was just as good, the smoked aubergine and masala chips are highly recommended! A+
